I mean normal and keep going is fine. The noise cancelation of the wall terrible. The fire alarm seems out of battery and we still give notice to the front desk yet.

So far, I think the living experience in Sterling has been very good. I am a student at UCD, and the bus stop near the apartment has made my transportation very convenient. At the same time, there are supermarkets such as Safeway nearby, and I can walk to buy ingredients. The only thing that bothers me is that I have found insects.

The rooms are bright, modern, and cozy — perfect for both individuals and roommates. Living here feels comfortable and peaceful. The management team is also worth praising. Whether it's a maintenance request or a general question, the staff always responds quickly and kindly, and they are willing to help with anything you need. Common areas like the laundry room, mailbox area, and elevators are clean and well-maintained, which reflects the thoughtful and organized property management.

I really enjoy my time here at Sterling. I have been living here for a year and I totally recommend it. When I need something fixed, the maintenance comes in very fast and responds very quickly. I also really love the gym and the pool. It is so nice and the facility is very new.

I love all the great amenities, I’m able to get free coffee in the morning and enjoy the weather in the outside lounges or when I want a quick workout I can go to the gym right upstairs!

I really enjoyed staying at this house. It felt clean, cozy, and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The layout made it easy to relax, and the furniture was both practical and stylish. The kitchen had everything I needed, which made cooking simple, and the bedrooms were quiet and spacious. I also liked how much natural light came in during the day. The neighborhood was calm and safe, and it was easy to get to stores and restaurants nearby. Overall, it felt like a home rather than just a place to stay, and I’d be happy to return in the future.

Room is clean, bed is good, no ants or roaches, helpful staff. The whole move in process was smooth and easy. Amenities are all new and clean. The apartment feels cozy.

I love the pool tables and the air hockey very content and elated with these items. I hope to see more items like this in the future. The game room was another feature I enjoyed a lot and I am happy to be apart of this community.

I like that there are so many amenities and it’s very easy to put in a service request. The leasing office staff is very nice and they often hold events for residents which is a great way to meet people.

All of the amenities are amazing! I always appreciate how clean everything is, how we have consistent landscaping and security checks. Downtown Davis is 5 minutes away and the people here are always on top of support and assistance!

Sterling 5th Street is the best apartment complex in Davis! I highly recommend it for its affordability, luxury, and convenience. For 2024, I got a 5x5 (bedroom comes with its own bathroom) for $1,099/month. Each bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, storage, and a walk-in closet. The private bathrooms and modern common areas are great. The unit is not that soundproofed, but that is to be expected with student housing in general. It is still however the best soundproofed for its layout in Davis. Amenities include a pool, jacuzzi, gym (equipped like the ARC), study areas, free printing, a game room, and BBQs. The secured parking garage has a lot of space. The staff, especially Angelina and Jonathan, are helpful, and maintenance is prompt. Though slightly farther from campus, the nearby bike highway makes commuting possible. Sterling’s pricing is unmatched, offering luxury at a fraction of competitors’ costs. I renewed my lease at $1,229 for 2025, still a great deal.

I really enjoy the gym, they have machines, cardio machines and weights. Also I really enjoyed the activities like bingo night or craft nights because I was able to meet some of my neighbors and have great time!!

The amenities are nice and the staff are helpful. However, sometimes communication gets lost and oftentimes I am not updated about changes. It can also be hard to get in contact with them by phone, so coming into the office is best. But the room is nice and I like having my own dedicated bathroom.

As this is my first time in the United States, I initially felt a bit uneasy about sharing a living space with so many people. However, after moving in, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming everyone is. The apartment is new, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff is always helpful and goes out of their way to assist residents with any concerns. Additionally, the gym is fully equipped, and I’ve been enjoying my daily runs there. Overall, this has been a great experience, and I feel very happy with my choice.

My favorite part about Sterling Fifth St is the community! I appreciate how hard the staff works and how it is a nice environment. From the social lounge to the other nice amenities, it really feels like home and I have zero regrets signing with them.
